Between Us
Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of Between Us. By creating or using an account, you agree to these Terms.
1) Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 17 years old and able to agree to these Terms. Each person uses their own account. You are responsible for activity from your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
2) What Between Us provides
Between Us is a relationship communication product for two people. Core areas include check-ins, shared relationship space, private AI reflection, plans, and profile/safety settings.
3) Shared relationship spaces
A relationship space connects two member accounts. Either person may leave that space. Shared records can require approval by both people, and disputed records are not treated as jointly accepted facts.
4) Privacy levels and content behavior
The app uses three privacy levels: Private to me, AI may use discreetly, and Shared with us. You are responsible for selecting the level that matches what you intend to share.
5) AI features and consent
AI features are optional. Your text is not sent to the third-party AI provider until you grant AI consent in app settings. You may change consent settings later. AI outputs may be imperfect and should be reviewed by you before acting on them.
6) Safety and emergency limits
Between Us is not an emergency service, therapist, legal advisor, or crisis response provider. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Use quick-exit and safety settings if needed.
7) Prohibited use
- Use the service only in lawful ways.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access to any account or system.
- Do not use the service to harass, threaten, or impersonate other people.
- Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse platform infrastructure.
8) Optional paid features
Some builds may offer optional subscriptions through Apple App Store billing (for example via RevenueCat-managed entitlements). Pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple under your App Store terms.
9) Service availability and updates
Features may evolve over time. We may change, suspend, or remove features to improve reliability, privacy, safety, or compliance.
10) Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may limit or suspend access if these Terms are violated or if needed for safety, security, or legal reasons.
11) Liability limitations
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Between Us is provided as available. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
12) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material updates appear on this page with a revised date.
